Har Ki Dun

Har Ki Dun is a cradle-shaped Himalayan valley in the Govind National Park area of Uttarkashi district, popular among trekkers for its relatively moderate difficulty, ancient villages along the route, and views of peaks like Swargarohini. The trek base is the village of Sankri, reachable by road from Dehradun.

Har Ki Dun is famous as one of Uttarakhand's most scenic and accessible Himalayan treks, its centuries-old villages (Osla, Gangad) with distinct wooden architecture, and the legend connecting it to the Mahabharata (said to be part of the Pandavas' path to heaven).
