The Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in North Chamoli district. It is an alpine valley famous for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and diverse flora. Nearby lies Hemkund Sahib, a sacred Sikh pilgrimage site situated next to a pristine glacial lake.
